Science Lab I (TH) 10:00 - 10:55
Science is exciting! In Science Lab we learn all about the world around us. Instruction and hands on experience blend together to bring each child face to face with God’s wonderful, scientific world! (Appropriate for grades 2nd-6th)

Art (TH) 1:30 - 2:30
Let your creative juices run free! Experiment with different types of arts and crafts.
(Appropriate for grades 1st-7th)

Senior Workshop (F) 11:30 – 12:30
Make a senior memory book, participate in a community service project, and complete a résumé, and much more. This class is mandatory for graduation.
(Appropriate only for seniors)
Floor Hockey (TH) 12:30 - 1:25
Each week students will compete in teams. They will learn the rules and regulation of the sport while playing an invigorating game!
(Appropriate for grades K-6th)
Gym II (TH) 1:30 - 2:30
An aerobics class that will use video workouts to get that blood pumping! Comfortable and modest clothing must be worn for this coed class. Parents are welcome to join!

Time Travel Academy (TH) 9:00 – 9:55
Learn our history! This fun and historical social studies class is a video based class full of recent American history. From The Reagan Revolution to the presidency today; there is so much to be learned!

Art II (TH) 1:30 – 2:30
Crop, design, and create beautiful works of art that will last! Scrapbooking is an esthetically pleasing way to preserve treasured memories. Students in this class must have a background in scrapbooking techniques.Students will also make holiday items and work on beading.

Sign Language I (TH) 12:30 - 1:25
Learning a new language is never easy. However, the benefits to learning sign language are limitless! The course is designed to give students a look into the world of the deaf, master basic vocabulary, and simple conversation skills.
(Appropriate for grades 1st and up)

Sign Language II (F) 1:00 - 2:00
SLII is for the student who has a background, even limited experience, in sign language. Study includes learning to interpret for those around you, the laws of sign language, and more vocabulary building.
(Appropriate for students who have at least a limited experience in sign language)

ACT/SAT Study Group (TH) 1:30 – 2:30
Students will take two mock tests, build math skills, work on vocabulary, as well as cover other subject such as testing anxiety.
(Appropriate for high school only)

English (TH) 1:30 - 2:30
Learn the fundamentals of the English language in this stimulating class. Students will study the parts of speech, sentence structure, learn to digraph sentences, pen formal paragraphs and more.
(Appropriate for 5th grade and above)

Chess (TH) 1:30pm – 2:25pm
Whether you’ve been playing chess for only a few weeks or for several years, you’ll find this class to be fun & educational! You will learn all the basics of chess: defining the board and pieces, history, how to read and write chess, movement, basic strategy, openings, draws, checkmating, and more!! Studies show that children who learn to play chess early will not only do better in math, cognitive and analytical abilities, but they are more inclined to develop leadership qualities. Why? Because they learn to think! Students will be paired up for tournament p lay when ready.
(Appropriate for grades 2nd & above, also based on basic reading skills: abc’s & 123’s)
$80 * Required Equipment: Bring Chess-Set and a notebook/pen for recording moves.
(Note that Chessboards will be labeled with file-letters and rank-numbers for learning, recording moves and tournament play).
Self-Defense / Martial Arts (TH) 12:30pm – 1:25pm
This informative, exciting & fun class will teach: safety awareness, hold escapes, defense tactics & strikes, & vulnerable striking areas. Students will also gain: self-discipline, respect, self-control, confidence, leadership skills, Christian values, concentration, coordination and more! Participants should wear comfortable exercise clothing or purchase a training uniform from instructor. *Students have the opportunity to continue with formal Training and rank advancement under Master Berry's Martial Arts Organization.
(Appropriate for grades 1st & above)
$80 * Recommended battle-stick or striking-hand-targets and other optional training equipment may be purchased from instructor.
Biology (T/TH) 9:00 – 10:30
This class includes an overview of the scientific method, prokaryotes and eukaryotes, cell structure, genetics, and more. Students receive one science credit complete with labs, lecture, and text.

Chemistry (T/TH) 10:40 – 12:00
Compounds, chemical structure, atoms, and valences; chemistry is an explosive experience. Students receive one science credit complete with labs, lecture, and text.

Algebra I (M/W) 12:30– 2:00
This course teaches basic algebraic concepts. Algebra explains fractions, decimals, and working with variables.

Geometry (M/W) 1:30– 3:00
Students will learn geometry concepts such as; graphs, angles, space figures and polygons. (Appropriate for high school only)

Career Explorations (TH) 9:00 - 9:55
In careen explorations learners will take personality tests, learn career building skills, enjoy guest speakers from many different fields, as well as complete an internship.
(Appropriate for 8th+ Adults are welcome to take this class too!)

Research Paper(TH) 10:00 - 10:55
Learning to compose a college level research paper is not an easy task. however, it is imperative to a successful academic career. Students will practice per-writing, learn how to compile an outline, and write a paper MLA formatted paper.
(Appropriate for high school only)

Civil War History (TH) 12:30 - 1:35
A 1/2 credit high school level history class; Civil War History uses AOP's virtual curriculum and adds a lecture based, classroom style presentation.

Literature(TH) 9:00 - 9:55
Read a classic work of literature, participate in activities, complete writing, and enjoy a spectacular class; students in literature truly get it all!
(Appropriate for 4th - 7th grades only)
CSI (TH) 12:30 - 1:25
Investigating a crime takes a lot of skill. Students will use math, science, and language skills plus employ critical thinking while they learn to take apart a "sticky" situation; one clue at a time!
(Appropriate for 7th - 12th grades only)
Algebra 1/2 (M/W) 12:30 – 2:00
